‘Abstract’ exhibition is live!
pictureNow’s latest group exhibition on the theme ‘Abstract’ is now showing at the Ideas Hub, Chelmsford!
Next meet-up is 3 July
We’ve scheduled monthly meetings throughout the year, even during normal holiday season. We completely understand if you cannot make some of these dates but we’ll be starting our next group topic on Monday 3 July at 6.45 p.m. at Writtle College (see bottom of page for venue details). Do come if you can.
We’ll be getting ourselves into a dream-like state to tackle Surrealism as a photographic style! At this meeting we’ll be discussing what surrealism is, what it isn’t, and looking at the work of past masters and contemporary practitioners. We will also be doing some practical visualisation exercises to get us into a frame of mind that should help us create our own surreal photos over the next few months. No cameras necessary but if you could bring a pair of scissors and a glue stick that would be helpful.
We look forward to seeing you there.
All new members welcome. (donation of £3). Students free.
